The Miss America Foundation proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies for the women of the Miss America program. Our mission: to empower women through career resources and scholarships. Participation in the Miss America program provides women with access to a cadre of scholarship opportunities from women in medicine, women in business, women in STEM, social impact initiatives, to the arts and more.

Miss America Foundation Scholarship Recipients
I had the opportunity to serve as Miss Iowa 2018 and I now serve as the local executive director for the Miss Clinton County Scholarship Award Program. The Miss America foundation truly set me on a trajectory to succeed and I am so forever grateful for all opportunities throughout my journey. And that is exactly why I continue to give back to this organization because I believe that it is so important to empower women because women empowered me to be where I am today
Mikhayla Hughes-Shaw
Through the Miss America Foundation, I have earned $33,000 in scholarships including the Women in Business Award. Because of this, I have been able to afford a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri. Now I am a speech language pathologist. I am so honored and grateful to be involved with a program that believes in women’s education and leadership.
Meghan Sinisi
As a teen, I gained over $10,000 in scholarships. Now, I have gained over $50,000 from the Miss America Foundation. The important thing is there are women whose worlds are changed forever because of the Miss America Foundation. Because of the scholarship money I’ve earned, I am able to work towards my Master’s Degree in educating the next generation of newscasters.
