The Miss America Foundation (MAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scholarships for women across the country. MAF proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies.

The Miss America Program makes available over $5 million dollars in cash scholarships a
year across the country at the local, state, and national level. In addition, there are millions
of dollars made available to candidates through colleges and universities annually.

CASH SCHOLARSHIP

2020 saw the introduction of a National $5,000.00 cash scholarship given by Dakota State University to broaden recognition of the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.

YEARS
YEARS OF STUDY FUNDED*

2020 saw the introduction of the Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences at Dakota State University award of an in-kind scholarship for the cash scholarship winner to enroll in up to four (4) years of undergraduate studies, including tuition, room and board at Dakota State University or scholarship for tuition to complete one (1) degree of graduate studies!
