Women in Business
Finalists for the Women in Business scholarship are selected based on the candidates’ initiatives and accomplishments in the area of business as described in their Social Impact Initiatives and Resumes submitted forMiss America.
Women in STEM
Finalists for this scholarship are selected based on candidates academic or career pursuits in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
Forever Miss America Scholarship
The Forever Miss America Scholarship is available to a qualified applicant working toward a career in the Arts or Entertainment field.
Women Who Brand Scholarship
Finalists for the Women Who Brand scholarship will be selected based on the candidates’ vision, development, creativity, implementation, and metrics of her Brand Identity.
The Jean Bartel Social Impact Initiative Award
Finalists for this scholarship are selected based on the depth of service, project creativity, and the significant effects upon the lives of others.
Jean Bartel Military Awareness
This scholarship is awarded to an applicant who has supported and brought positive awareness to our military for any of our branches.
Allman Medical
Candidates for this scholarship are those who wished to enter the field of medicine to become medical doctors.
Equity and Justice
Finalists for this scholarship are selected for who best exemplify inclusion and acceptance of these principles into her social impact initiative.

Teen Scholarships
Scholarship recipients must be under 18 at the time of award and meet the below qualifications.

State ED's MUST submit State and Local Scholarship requests on behalf of candidate.

Miss America Foundation Scholarship Recipients
I had the opportunity to serve as Miss Iowa 2018 and I now serve as the local executive director for the Miss Clinton County Scholarship Award Program. The Miss America foundation truly set me on a trajectory to succeed and I am so forever grateful for all opportunities throughout my journey. And that is exactly why I continue to give back to this organization because I believe that it is so important to empower women because women empowered me to be where I am today
Mikhayla Hughes-Shaw
Through the Miss America Foundation, I have earned $33,000 in scholarships including the Women in Business Award. Because of this, I have been able to afford a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri. Now I am a speech language pathologist. I am so honored and grateful to be involved with a program that believes in women’s education and leadership.
Meghan Sinisi
As a teen, I gained over $10,000 in scholarships. Now, I have gained over $50,000 from the Miss America Foundation. The important thing is there are women whose worlds are changed forever because of the Miss America Foundation. Because of the scholarship money I’ve earned, I am able to work towards my Master’s Degree in educating the next generation of newscasters.
